On 15the November Rotary Club of Kanpur Greator completed the renovation work of Bal Grah ( Boys )
District Magistrate Shri. Mukesh Mesram inaugurated on the 15th of November 2010 the newly renovated:-
1) Kitchen renovated with ( Brown Granite Top, Cream Tile up to Six Ft. Kota Flooring, in Kitchen, Washing & Store Room )
2) Bathroom renovated with ( New plumber work I.e. Pipes, taps & fittings etc., Marble Flooring, & White Tile on Walls )
3) Court Yard & Veranda renovated with ( Cement Flooring with side Drainage Lanes and color wash )
The D.M. Was pleasantly surprised with the good quality work done by our club and had all the praises for the same. He congratulate club for following the true sprit of Rotary which our club does doing full justice to the motto of Rotary. The D.M. Directed the authorities to demarcate the land to enable the boundary construction, and assured for admission to school for the children of the Bal Grah ( Boys )in the next door intermediate school.
President P.H.F Rtn. Sanjay Chowdhary welcomed the gathering and P.H.F. Rtn. Rajiv Agarwal told about the details of work done at the Bal Grah.
M.P.H.F. Rtn. Arvind Srivastava D.G. Elect praised our clubs work and informed that he made sure to attend this inauguration meeting leaving an inter city meet at Agra.
The Undersigned Thanked the Chief Guest, D.G. Elect, praised the Rotarians and Ann’s for there dedication to the organization. And specially thanked the main sponsor of this renovation our Rtn. Alok Lohia Ji.
The press extensively covered the above function. The Staff and caretakers of the Bal Grah were also very positive seeing this good work. Children were very happy to see a positive change in there lives, this effort will help them to have a healthy and hygienic environment.
