On 20th November 2010, Saturday, club got this great opportunity to present hospitality to Rtn.THOM REDDIAL and welcome him at Permanent Project and Adopted School, GNK Saraswati Shishu Mandir. Picked him from his local stay and started the day amongst the beautiful and cultural atmosphere created by the school management and kids, a heart touching welcome was given by kids to Rtn. Reddial, putting Tikka , tying Mooli, traditional presentation of Saraswati Vandana , Deep Prajwalan, Desh Gaan by kids and walk through Computer Wing established by our club in the school premises. The School management appreciated and explained how the Rotary Club Of New Kanpur is helping to make school equipped with better facility. Our Charter President Rtn.Vinod Rishi, presented the Project Report seeking R.I. Matching Grant from expansion of Computer Wing and provides much needed help to the school. PDG Rtn. Chander Rishi Ji expressed his view on the activities of the club and explained how these efforts can improve lives of hundreds of students. The Manager of the Institution Trust, Shri. Surendra Kakkar, gave vote of thanks and told that the institute tries to educate the students about the culture and keep the students firmly grounded to roots. The Club President Rtn.Amit Jindal and other Board of Directors presented a token of love to the Chief Guest Rtn.Thom Reddial, in turn he was overwhelmed by the welcome and visiting facility and he told that “ he is over joyed and touched and he will remember this for a long time to come”.
