A rotary team of six Rotarians from California (USA) visited.
A meeting of the team was organised with the SDM, Nagarpalika Chairman, Medical Suprintendent of Govt Hospital and other government officials.
The Polio Plus campaign was reviewed in totality. The team also visited several booths during NID on 27th Feb and administered polio drops to many children.
The team promoted the ideals of rotary during the Rath Yatra on 27th Feb. The Rath Yatra was taken to the main areas of Kashipur town and was widely covered by the local media.
The team also watched the door-to-door program of Polio Plus on 28th Feb. All the members of the team were impressed by the Polio Plus campaign at Kashipur and hailed the efforts of Rotarians in conducting this program.
Official meeting of the team members was also held with the club members and the flags were exchanged.
